NISN provides for the transport and delivery of NASA Wide Area Network (WAN) communications services both domestically and internationally. NISN provides both digital and analog services, dedicated and switched circuits, packet data transport, multi-protocol WAN, domain name servers, and various data networks. Voice, Video, and Broadcast Facsimile (BFax) are also available. The provisioning of NISN services entails certain lead times. Such lead times vary from a few days through several months up to two or three years. This depends upon the complexity of the solution required to meet the customer’s requirement.
